Many thanks to Joel Craig, J.B.Bellenger, Dave and Andre Steijns for their support and kind words.

Primitive: sold out at ProgRock.co.uk!
After less than one month from PRIMITIVE's release date, ProgRock (UK) announced it had sold out and stated that PRIMITIVE is number 1 in their UK charts. With a bit of pride and a lot of happiness we, the band and the staff, are glad that PRIMITIVE is surprisingly ahead of the new Fear Of A Blank Planet by Porcupine Tree. And we're even happier to see that Ghost and Vacuum are still in the top 15 of ProgRock (UK)! It's a little success that we would like to share with you. Here is the message recently received from ProgRock (UK):

"We have a new Number 1 in the progrock.co.uk charts! After nine weeks at the top, the debut CD by The Reasoning called 'Awakening' has finally been replaced! Our new Best Seller is the new CD by Italian band THE WATCH, called PRIMITIVE. As previously mentioned, this CD is an absolute MUST BUY for early Genesis fans!! This, and the band's previous CD's will sit well next to your copies of Trespass, Nursery Cryme and Foxtrot! Vintage Prog that you will love, and highly recommended!
PLEASE NOTE: THE WATCH CD's have been so popular, we have sold out!! BUT, they will all be back in stock on 08 May 2007, except Ghost which is being re-pressed by the band and will be in stock from 24 May 2007"

... They are in the manor of what Genesis' compositions very well might have developed into if they had chosen a different direction and followed a more symphonic line rather than blending their music with more and more pop elements. And the way in which The Watch does it is not only interesting, it is also very emotional ...

Progressive World - John Bollenberg
... based on the many bands there are, spread over the last thirty years, I can clearly say The Watch is the absolute best, with Vacuum for sure being their absolute highlight ...

Prog Nose - Claude 'Clayreon' Bosschem
... You feel like you’re completely in the Lamb zone with the use of melodious prog interchanged with heavy parts. Vacuum is a pleasant surprise for me...

Progressive Rock & Progressive Metal
... in fact The Watch is the band that represents the "Genesis" feeling at the present day, and is a specially work for all Genesis fans, where the songs contain references from memorable albums as "Selling England By The Pound" and "Foxtrot"... "
